WAGMI United is a DAO set up to reinvent the legacy of sports ownership and give fans a meaningful voice through Web3. In 2022, WAGMI United purchased the rights to Crawley Town FC, an English Football League 2 club, with the intention of collectively helping the team make it to the English Premier League. Described as “The Internet’s Team”, the DAO structure lets the WAGMI community democratize club decisions through voting. As part of the entity’s investment in Crawley Town FC, WAGMI launched an NFT to facilitate fan engagement.
